Definitely don’t read this now , this has some unreasonable shit and wait for maybe 70-80 chapters to start reading . Spoiler ahead why does he have to endure the harsh trials for the mistakes of his past life , bro doesn’t even have the memories of doing it , this is just like the baseless accusations and nepotism in its finest . It’s too frustrating . But ….. Overall fine , so if you get easily frustrated from brainrot concepts don’t read until atleast 50 chapters , it’s currently at 42 and I’m frustrated now
I mean I’m fairly sure this is set up. Like I’m gonna call it now its gonna be either the idea that the karmic system is wrong because it affectively is indiscriminate on whether you did bad things for good reasons or if it’s even right to drop the karmic debt of an entire ass another life on what’ affectively just a kid trying his best or it’s gonna be a message about intention not mattering. The idea that blood spilt is blood spilt no matter how good the reason is could also be what’s being set up here and sorta works with the whole blood demon theme and the mc not remembering doing it from the karma systems perspective could be akin to a murderer suffering from amnesia. Sure it’s fucked up but it’s still just.
although I personally don’t like the themes too much I feel like it’s not poorly done it’s just that now it’s moving towards the question on whether the karma system is actually just or not. Just don’t go into it expecting the mc to not have a hard time. It’s clearly a perpetual underdog story. Hell the mc is literally getting punished by fate itself, it’s gonna feel unfair.
